About This Spot

Stepping into Manor Restaurant Lugano-Centro feels like entering a bustling crossroads of casual dining where the rhythm is unhurried yet lively. Nestled in the heart of Lugano, this spot carries the comforting hum of a neighborhood cafeteria blended with a touch of city buzz. The layout invites you to explore at your own pace, with an array of freshly prepared dishes displayed like little invitations, each promising a moment of simple, honest pleasure.

The atmosphere softly balances the practical and the personal. It is a place where locals and travelers alike weave in and out, drawn by the variety of flavors that reflect both Swiss sensibilities and a broader Mediterranean influence. Whether you pause for a thoughtfully brewed coffee paired with a fresh pastry or embark on a more substantial meal featuring handmade pasta or a vibrant salad, there is a sense of choice that feels both generous and grounded.

As you navigate the selection, the experience gently encourages discovery — pairing a crisp salad with a savory slice of pizza, or indulging in a sweet spot of vermicelles-torte while savoring a refreshing lemon and ginger drink. The pace here allows for moments of quiet observation amid the friendly buzz, where the clinking of cutlery and murmur of conversation form a warm backdrop.

What elevates Manor beyond a simple buffet is the inviting human presence: servers moving with purpose and care, a mix of families enjoying time indoors and out, and the subtle spontaneity of selecting dishes that speak to you in the moment. There’s a familiar comfort in this lively flow, a place that feels more like a daily ritual than a rushed meal, where each visitor can quietly stitch together their own small celebration of food and atmosphere.

At first, I thought this restaurant was like Tibits, where you can choose whatever you want and pay by weight. But that's not the case. You can still choose whatever you want, but each item has its own price. I'm confused about how the salad is charged, though, and there's no one to help with the ordering process.

This cafeteria style of restaurant offers an overwhelming selection. Initially I was overcome by the vast options but then I saw one of the cooks serving a dish of meatballs. Decession made. Their soup selection called me. The layout and presentation of the available dishes are striking. This place is worth a visit at least once just for the experience. I would visit here again. On a negative note the mens bathroom needs attention. Look at the pictures. Not a good look. The management of this establishment should take immediate action to correct the deficiencies.

Best Pasta in the city - handmade, fresh and tasty. That is where I’m going when I want to eat fine pasta. I highly recommend pasta with pesto and a glass Chardonnay! The best!

We loved it! Prices are expensive, but for Switzerland still affordable, you can choose pizza, pasta, poké, meat, fish, lemonades, salads, deserts, coffee, this place offers it all. At the end you pay for what you choose.

It is located in the center of Lugano . Pizza Margarita is my favorite. You have more choice if you like to serve the price is fair. For kids have inside and outside play ground . Enjoy .....

I would not have thought a department store had such great food. So many choices for breakfast and lunch and all of it fresh and delicious. A ton of staff so the service is great. You can eat inside or out atmosphere is perfect

For the some of the lowest prices in the city, we were pleasantly surprised that the experience was fun, the options were plentiful, and the pasta was tasty!

The food was okay and the place was clean and well kept. Service was decent, and it’s a convenient spot for a quick meal while shopping at the mall.
